So apparently I can not only hug a baby panda in Chengdu…
But spend a day volunteering to feed and clean up after the pandas. 600RMB, or approx $94.

Feeding the panda (fresh bamboo, apple, panda cake)
Cleaning the enclosure to give
Collecting and weighing the feces (this is the most effective way to determine the health of the panda).
Cleaning bamboo.
Cleaning the panda.
Weighing fresh bamboo.
Weigh the bamboo after the panda eats to know how much they have eaten, and so on.”I have 2.5 days in Chengdu. And I can’t say I’ve ever cleaned a panda before.
