But spend a day volunteering to feed and clean up after the pandas. 600RMB, or approx $94.
“Your Keeper work may include:

Cleaning the enclosure to give
Collecting and weighing the feces (this is the most effective way to determine the health of the panda).
Cleaning bamboo.
Cleaning the panda.
Weighing fresh bamboo.
Weigh the bamboo after the panda eats to know how much they have eaten, and so on.”
I have 2.5 days in Chengdu. And I can’t say I’ve ever cleaned a panda before.
Good idea?
An acrobatics show at Shanghai Circus World. Amazing.
(I was scolded for taking photos. I don’t regret it.)
The cafeteria isn’t very nice looking, industrial and sort of dirty (though hopefully not in the kitchen). Some of the food is a bit disappointing - their pork buns have nothing on Melbourne’s, though I’m probably not supposed to say that - but this? This was amazing. It tasted just like a dim sim… but with bread instead of pastry, and no meat. I think it was a fried bread roll with cabbage and presumably something else inside. Delicious.
